Villa Layout and Details

• Main Living Areas: The villa has a modern, open layout, with spacious living and dining areas perfect for group gatherings. Large windows offer stunning views of the garden, pool, and ocean.
• Bedrooms: The villa has 7 bedroom suites in total: 5 in the main house and 2 in the garden house. One bedroom in the main house is on the ground floor, while the other 4 are on the first floor. All first-floor bedrooms have private balconies with ocean views. The master suite features a bathtub on the balcony.
• Pool and Outdoor Areas: The infinity pool is perfect for both swimming laps and lounging around while enjoying the spectacular views of the beach and bay. The villa offers private access to a beautiful bay, where guests can enjoy the beach.
• Dining Spaces: The villa has spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas, where guests can enjoy meals while overlooking the pool and garden.
• Special Features: The villa is an ideal retreat for keen surfers with several surf breaks nearby. The rooftop garden offers breathtaking views of the bay, especially during sunset, and is perfect for relaxing after a day of activities.

Talalla Villa

Talalla House, tucked into a hill with breath taking views & direct access to one of the most beautiful southern beaches in Sri Lanka, sleeps 14 people, in 7 en suite bedrooms. 5 of the bedrooms are in the main house & the her 2 are accessed from the garden.

A full house team is included to look after you including a very talented chef. Meals are extra charge offered at full board.

The beach stretches away for over 1km is accessible from the private gate.

The space
Enter the architecturally modern Talalla House via a labyrinth where sunlight passes through slits in the wall to light up a tropical fishpond. Hear the ocean as you walk the long hall, past the kitchen, into the open living area.

From here, all eyes are drawn to the highlight of Talalla, the golden sandy beach stretching away from you for a kilometre. It is framed by the pool’s infinity edge and a lush tropical garden.

The living area is open plan with a dining table for up to 14 people – 10 seated in the house & 4 outside on the pool deck.

The entire living area opens to the deck and pool.

On the ground floor adjoining the living area, is one of the 5 main house suites en suite bedroom. It has sliding doors that open to the pool deck. From the living area, a floating stairway takes you to the first floor hallway with access to the remaining four bedrooms. All come with air-conditioning & private balconies that offer undisturbed ocean views.

The master & second suite both have bathtubs on the balconies.

At the end of the hall you enter the covered, open air yoga studio facing the ocean. If you wish, this area can also function as a private covered terrace for the master suite.

From here take the stairway to the rooftop with its 30 m (100 ft) long garden from where you look westerly over the beach & the open ocean. The rooftop garden has a small bar and lounge chairs for sunset drinks.

Back at the ground floor, walk past the pool & across the garden to the entrance of two smaller garden rooms, each with air con, en suite shower. We’d suggest these rooms are perfect for teenagers.

There is also an outside dining table under the shade of trees.

At the back of the house you’ll find the staff quarters. Talalla House has a 24/7 security guard and a gated parking area.

Guest access
The villa is offered exclusively for your use during your stay. Included in the price are the services of our experienced and dedicated team.

The team will be on hand up to 10pm or when dinner is cleared away.

They have their private space accessible through the kitchen & we ask guests not to venture into this area.

Everywhere else on the property is available to guests.

Other things to note
All meals are extra & are charged on a fixed price basis. We have a full menu + a vegan menu & you can choose from which you wish to eat each day.

Due to limited space in our kitchen we ask that everyone has either the full or the vegan menu. Eating as a family as you would at home.

Each menu is divided into a set menu per day so all you need do is choose which day’s from which menu.
